Cancelation & Rescheduling
We ask that you contact us at 2 hours before your appointment time to cancel or reschedule. This allows us to open up the appointment time for other clients. You will not be charged a cancelation fee if you contact us 2 hours prior to your appointment time!
The easiest way to cancel or reschedule your appointment is by replying to your confirmation text. Or you can call the studio phone to cancel or reschedule your appointment: 830-730-8794
Do not message us on social media to cancel! We may not see it!
Any cancellation or reschedule request made less than 2 hours before the appointment time may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the service(s) booked at the staff's discretion.
No call/No show
If you do not come to your appointment and do not call to let us know at least 2 hours in advance or cancel via your confirmation text, your card on file will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the service(s) booked.
This fee is a partial compensation for our staff for the loss of income due to the appointment spot not being filled. Please remember we have a large volume of clients that are requesting appointments and if you do not attend your appointment it is a spot someone else could have booked.
Age Requirement
We have a minimum age requirement for each piercing service. This can be view on our pricing page as well as under the appointment description at the time of booking. We do not make exceptions for age requirements.
It is the clients responsibility to make sure if they are bringing a minor that they meet the minim age requirement. If you arrive to your scheduled appointment with a minor who does not meet our age requirements for the service you will be charged the full service fee.
Incorrect or Expired Identification
Adult Clients
- All adult clients (over 18) must provide a VALID government photo I.D. at the time of their appointment.
- If you arrive for your appointment and have invalid or expired ID your card on file will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the service(s) booked.
Minor Clients (under 18 y/o)
- Legal guardians bringing a minor for a piercing must provide documentation of the parental relationship at the time of their appointment. Please be sure to take our Documentation for Minors Quiz to make sure you have all of the correct documentation.
- Only parents or legal guardians can bring a minor for a piercing. Step parents, grandparents, older siblings, or extended family may not bring minors with out court order guardianship documents.
- If you provide incorrect documentation for a minor and are unable to provide the correct documentation at the time of the appointment your card on file will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the service(s) booked.
We are licensed through The Texas State Department of Health. We strictly follow all guidelines and laws required for piercing in the state of Texas. There are no exceptions when it comes to providing these required documents.
Tattoo Policies
Deposits
Deposits are required to secure appointments. The deposit amount will be collected at the time of booking and will be applied to the final cost of the tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule your appointment you must contact the studio or your artist directly at least 48 hours before your appointment so that we are able to rebook you and look to fill your space. Any no call/no shows or cancellations less than 48 hours before the appointment will result in the deposit being forfeited, unless there is extenuating circumstances. This is to ensure that the artists are partly compensated for the time they put into designing and drawing up your artwork.
Courtesy & Kindness
We love what we do here at Onyx! Please be courteous and arrive on time so we can give you and our other clients the best experience possible! We ask that you treat our staff with the same respect & kindness you would want! We will not service clientele who can not adhere to this request.
We do not enjoy having to charge cancellation fees but we believe our staff deserves to be compensated fairly for their time.
